Kristy attended Francis Marion University on a softball scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics in 1999. In 2001, Kristy received her LA&H license and joined Northwestern Mutual Financial Network as an associate agent. Additionally, she was a manager at Concepts Solutions, LLC. Her responsibilities there included working with agents in the following areas: group health insurance, life insurance, taxes, annuities, payroll, and ancillary products.  

 

In September 2011, Kristy joined the Gilston Insurance Agency as an Individual and Group Licensed Staff Agent and quickly became one of the Agency’s top producers. Currently, Kristy works with approximately 145 small and large group administrators and assists over 1500 employees. Her expertise in fully insured, level funded, and ICHRA coupled with ancillary lines of coverage allows her the ability provide employer-based solutions that meet the ever-changing needs of small and large businesses.   

 

On a personal level, Kristy lives in Moncks Corner with her husband, Brad, and her two children, Logan and Hudson. As a “Team Mom” with Berkeley High School Varsity Baseball, Kristy is actively involved in “all things baseball!”
