We can feed directly into your accounting system if it has import capabilities. If it is a POS system, we can format it to import into our system.

Will I have to request reports and pay extra for them?

No! You have access to your company's database and can retrieve standard reports or you can create your own customized reports at any time. There is no extra cost for this flexibility.

How do employees report their time? (punch a time clock, manual paper process)

Employees report their time and the data immediately feeds into the web-based system. There is no need for a paper process! There are 3 options for reporting time that can be discussed in greater detail with you.

How many places do you enter the same information when you add a new employee?

You will enter the data one time and it is shared with the COBRA administrator, the 401k administrator, the payroll database and the benefit coordinators for all Group Sponsored benefit plans and Unum Voluntary products.

How many customer service representatives will I be working with?

Both the David Gilston Insurance Agency and Netchex assign you a Dedicated Customer Service Representative and both will be familiar with your business. We are a relationship-based company!

What information will employees have access to? What can they access from home?

Each employee has their own "Dashboard" which they access on the Internet from any computer. They can access their own payroll and benefit information. They can even print their own salary history, change their address, etc. There are a lot of functions they can perform on their own. You limit what they can and cannot see.

What assistance is provided by the David Gilston Insurance Agency?

Our goal is to help lighten the load for your company by reducing the administrative burden of employee benefits. For example, as we monitor your employee activity, we will alert you when a new hire is eligible to enroll in benefits and notify the carriers when the enrollment occurs. Also, by comparing your carrier bills with the Billing Reconciliation Report, we can help minimize cash leaks of uncollected employee premiums. Finally, we have access to your current census and can proactively assist your agent with the renewal process.

Plan availability is based on the county in which you reside.
