New – Agent Referral Program

The Gilston Agency is pleased to announce the immediate implementation of an agent referral program.  This program is designed to encourage you to refer quality agents to begin working with the Gilston Agency that are currently not working with us for any carriers.

For each agent you refer to the agency that issues a minimum of 5 individual and/or small group applications, you will receive a $250 bonus.  In addition, if the agent issues a minimum of 5 applications, a bonus will paid in the amount of $10 per issued application written during the agent’s first year working with the agency.  Once the agent produces a total of 30 issued individual and/or small group applications, you will receive another $250 bonus.

Example

If you recruit an agent that issues 50 individual and/or small group applications in their first year working with the agency, you will receive a bonus totaling $1000.

($250 for 5 initial applications; $250 for issuing at least 30 applications; $500 for the $10 per application issued)

Carolina Care Plan

CCP to Cover Administrative Costs for the H1N1 (Swine Flu) Vaccination

For the 2009-2010 flu season, Carolina Care Plan will cover the full administration cost of the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine for all fully insured plan members and all members of self-funded plans, unless directed otherwise by the self-funded group.  Carolina Care Plan will cover the administrative cost even in instances where members' specific health plans do not provide coverage for preventive care or have limits on such coverage.  Please note: The H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine will be provided by the federal government at no cost to providers.  You can contact your Carolina Care Plan representative to determine if you have a self-funded group that decided not to cover the administration of the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine or will only cover a percentage of the administrative costs.  The Seasonal Flu and H1N1 (Swine Flu) FAQ document will be updated and posted on the homepage of MyBrokerLink, EmployerLink and CarolinaCarePlan.com.  You are encouraged to share this document with your groups.  If you receive questions from groups regarding H1N1 (swine flu), please direct them to the CDC Web, cdc.gov.
